HEART OF MIDLOTHIAN 0-5 TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR 18.8.2011

Couldn’t believe my luck when the UEFA Cup draw had Hearts playing a home match while I was in Edinburgh. The only downside was, with Tottenham Hotspur the opposition, getting a ticket could prove tricky.

I managed to get one with one hour to go before kick-off and headed into Tynecastle.

The atmosphere was fantastic, with the Hearts fans cranking up the noise for a marvellous atmosphere, which lasted for a whole four minutes before Rafael Van Der Vaart put Tottenham 1-0 up.

The match was a complete mismatch as Tottenham romped to a 5-0 win. I felt quite bad for laughing to myself.

Managed to get some good photos.

Enjoy.
