Phil Collins has had to cancel his Dublin concert (Someone started a rumour that I was going, totally not true) after falling over in his hotel room. Just a reminder that his tour is called Not Dead Yet, the same as David Gest’s tour last year.
In a show of cross border solidarity, could they not have made his Lansdowne Road concert a Blondie headliner (for some reason, they were supporting) with Mike and the Mechanics second (for some reason, they were also supporting), which would have been a far better concert.
Talking of Dublin concerts, Erasure have announced three Dublin concerts due to demand and no Belfast. Seriously, that’s just taking the piss.
I would listen to post 1981 Depeche Mode to try and get back at Vince Clarke, but they’ve also announced a tour and left out Belfast.
Ryan Adams update. Still looking for a Face Value ticket to his Ulster Hall concert in September.
If anybody hears of tickets to Arcade Fire on Tuesday for less than Face Value, send them my way. Really, I want to see The Kooks, but i’m not paying £45 just to see them.
