There is no prize as such, but if wants to meet up before his Belfast show in February, i’ll buy him a Hungry Hound. It’s only fair.

By the way, the offer of a Hungry Hound is still open to Marina and the Diamonds (2010) and Little Boots (2009) should they ever be in Belfast.

If you haven’t heard ‘AKA …… What A Life’, here’s the video, as well as the previous winners.

THE SOUND OF THE LAST FEW WEEKS

No doubt you’ve been wondering what i’ve been listening to the last couple of weeks, well here you go.

The first song, is the long awaited debut single from Noel Gallagher. It has been worth the wait, but if there is a complaint, there’s too much trumpet on it.

Having previously blogged about how i’ve love Noah and the Whale’s last two releases, and the third single from ‘Last Night On Earth’ is also excellent, even if it takes a few listens to really get into it.

Can’t wait to see them at Mandela Hall in October.

Not a massive Coldplay fan but I like their new single, possibly because it sounds like ‘There Goes The Fear‘ by Doves.

To be fair, they usually do one or two good singles per album, just a pity their albums are usually dull.

I recently purchased the new album by The View, ‘Bread and Circuses’ and especially love ‘Blondie’

It’s a fantastic album worth getting from a band I love.

Staying on a Scottish theme, i’m loving the new single by Jon Fratelli ‘Santo Domingo’

Unsurprisingly, it sounds quite a lot like The Fratellis …….. which is no bad thing.
